Manager Operations Accounting I, CPA

The primary purpose of the distribution finance accounting position is to provide financial business support for distribution and freight financial accounting and reporting.
This role is vital in ensuring accounting in compliance with GAAP, to ensure consistency across all distribution centers, supporting senior management with distribution and freight analysis, to look for automation opportunities, help with forecasting accuracy, and to support SOX controls.
Consistency of accounting rules and procedures across all distribution centers - ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal finance policiesStreamline closing process to be consistent across all distribution centers.
Work with the automation and improvement of current labor reporting for all distribution centers.
Further develop our forecasting models to make more automated, accurate, and flexible.
Work with each distribution center to make sure of consistent accounting procedures and proper SOX controls.
Distribution monthly reporting and closing activities.
Ensure consistency of reporting and accuracy of reporting across all DC's.
Work across all DC's on automation projects and also on process improvements while still maintaining proper accounting procedures and SOX controls.
Distribution OPC's and all other forecast as needed.
Ensure consistency of reporting and accuracy of reporting across all DC's.
Have a working understanding around inventory transactions.
Understand SAP IDOC's and the COGI process as well as WM case creates deletes.
Also, Understand the Sub Contractor process tracking for DC's.

Required Education:
BS Accounting/Finance/Analytics and CPARequired Years of
Experience:
3-6 Years Advanced computer skills required with extensive experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointStrong analytical skills and deep understanding of business financial metrics, especially pertaining to supply chain finance and distribution and manufacturing accounting.
Must be able to work at a detailed level with high accuracy as well as analyze and understand things at a strategic 'big-picture' level.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to work with Executive management, Finance, Manufacturing/Operations, Capacity Planning, Distribution and I/T.
