Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description -Small Assisted Living Community -Must be 21 years of age or older -High school diploma or GED -Must pass criminal background check -Minimum of one-year previous experience as a personal care aide or certified nursing assistant for the elderly in an assisted living or long-term care setting -Must be able to read, write, and speak English -Must be able to communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, and the community -Must have the ability to remain calm under stressful situations -Administer medication to residents in accordance with doctors' orders and state regulations -Complete all required documentation such as but not limited to medication administration records, incident reports, change of condition reports, medication refusal reports, etc.
-Must be readily able to assist CNA/PCA with residents care (ADL's) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility when needed for assistance.
-Must have basic understanding of diabetes which includes diabetic medications, glucometer management, finger stick blood sugar testing, insulin administration and be able to act immediately if/when symptoms of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia arise -Responsible for observing residents for changes in physical, emotional, mental health, etc.
such as, unusual symptoms, medication side effects, accidents, injuries or unusual behavior -Responsible for proper management of narcotic medications to include but not limited to ordering, dispensing, documenting, maintaining, storage, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
